About Queequeg, the name
Queequeg, Capt. Ahab, the Pequod, and Moby Dick⌗
We are in the habit of naming all our servers after crew members of the Pequod – the ship that chased Moby Dick, the great white whale. The 1851 novel by Herman Melville is one of the best books ever written, in our humble opinion.
Queequeg was a tattoed south pacific islander and onetime cannibal and one of the three harpooners of the Pequod.
