But blue? On black?⌗

Yes, I know. I’m aware there were green-on-black and orange-on-black monitors in the past.

But there were no blue-on-black monitors. It’s historically incorrect.

But I like blue. I like water, especially when blue. My kids have blue eyes. My wife has blue eyes. (I have blue eyes, too. But that’s not why I like blue.) I just like blue. So, blue on black. :-)
